        Zhang Qian Memorial Hall

Zhang Qian, the pathfinder of the famous Silk Road, is an outstanding diplomat and explorer in the West Han Dynasty (206B.C.-25A.D.). His tomb is located at Chenggu County and is a key provincial protected cultural relic of Shaanxi Province. Zhang Qian Memorial Hall (a national tourist attraction of grade 2A), built with Zhang Qian Tomb as its background, manifests the primitive, simple and tasty architectural style of the Han Dynasty. Dark green ancient cypresses in the graveyard, as well as green lawns in the courtyard of the memorial hall make it a serene and solemn place.
